“Treemapping” visualization

Dimitris Ladopoulos, a visual artist, recreated a series of historical art paintings using an algorithm called “treemapping” which calculates the density of information and then subdivides it based on some user-controllable parameters. The resulting mosaic of changes seen in the color palettes reminds me of Project 3 and the overall visualization of code to redefine an aspect of art.
