She was a famous architect who passed away in March 2016, but during her time as an architect she changed the way society perceived architectural geometry. In 2004, she was described as the “queen of the curve” by the Guardian of London. She has recieved many awards ranging from the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004, and Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011.
For me one of my favorite works is the Capital Hill Residence in Moscow, Russia. This building looks as if it was a spaceship from Star Wars. Many of her modern buildings are all breathtaking and worth a look.
