Kristen Liu-Wong is an LA based painter who depicts NSFW scenes in bright neon and pastel colors and in meticulous detail. Liu-Wong, who studied Illustration at Pratt Institute, draws inspiration from her own life for her works; she uses her paintings to explore her own sexuality as well as to grapple with her mental health. She credits her mother, an elementary school art teacher from San Francisco as one of her biggest supporters for not censoring her art in her adolescence.
