Multiple Exposure Photographs

Ellen Cantor is a still life photographer who uses her childhood book collections to create multiple exposure images. The overlapping of pictures is an attempt at capturing the “pleasure of losing oneself within the page of the book.” The way she combines these multiple pictures provide a sense of timelessness, as it seems to combine the time spent to read and flip through the books.
