Project 1.1 reminded me of the new statue on campus, Atmosphere and Environment XII, created by Louise Nevelson. The abstract design made of monochromatic steel shapes can be interpreted in many different ways and begs onlookers to develop a theory about what the shapes represent, much like how our sound studies can evoke various different thoughts and emotions for different viewers and even for the same viewer at different times.
