Solipsist

Solipsist is a short film about the interaction between visual and auditory elements of art. The 10-minutes long film explores a simple narrative with a festive use of color, texture, and movement (connects very well to what we did last class!). Unlike most shorts that depend on verbal communication to deliver a message, Solipsist captivates the audiences with an unusual juxtaposition of inorganic colors on the human body. I first stumbled upon this while browsing through other short films, 2AM at night, and was stunned by the visual components. I then rewatched it a couple of times to take in the auditory segments, stylistic choices of the director, and narrative underlying the short. Below are both the film and the making of it:
